NYFW: Ruffian Fall 2012
My favorite part of this whole collection was the coats. The fabric used reminded me of old english countryside, or even Sherlock Holmes. The hats also helped create that picture.
The first few looks were completely plaid, with jackets and pants or skirts. The 4th look felt a little out of place, with a metallic gold top and army green floor length skirt. It continues with more plaid jackets and dresses, all with awesome rows of black buttons. ( My favorite!) Finally, we started seeing colors. Bright blues, reds, and pinks flowed down the runway. Although some of the pieces seemed a little out of place again, (Cinched blue and black velvet dresses), the whole of the colored clothes were great, my favorite being a cameo pink blouse with white ruffles and lace.
